On You 2 @ Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA)
Georgia Tech has an exhibit that is unfortunately nearing it's end date (June 11-August 14) that looks specifically at conductive thread embroidery and fabric manipulation interfaces. How are these designs different, from some of the previous conductive thread interfaces we've seen? The answer is the context. These were designed with high end fashions in mind (e.g. the dress worn at a social event to dim the atmospheric lighting and music volume, or the pants with the conductive thread hidden embroidery sewn into the pleats).
