DIY e-textiles library, "How to get what you want"

"This website aims to be a comprehensible, accessible and maintainable reference resource, as well as a basis for further exploration and contribution"

This website, "How to get what you want" was developed in large part by one of my (wonderful) incoming graduate students, Hannah Perner-Wilson.

Flexible "Camera" Fabric

MIT researchers developed light-detecting fibers that could eventually be woven into a "fabric camera." Instead of counting on a single lens, the new system would use a web of the fibers as a distributed imaging surface. Imagine a shirt where the entire back is a "camera."
